Rosalie “Rosie” Moore Crouch, 83, of Mooresville NC passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 24, 2017. Rosie was born in Turnersburg, NC on June 1, 1934 to the late William Vance and Della Mae Moore. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Marshall F. “Sonny” Crouch Jr , children, Kim (Bill) Kenyon, Kelli (Roger) McGuffey, Kathryn (JD) Donelson, and Chuck Crouch, grandchildren, Trey and Kyle (Kimberly) Kenyon, Mariah and Kayla McGuffey, Jennifer (Anthony) McGuffey Middleton, John and Grace Donelson, and Carlie & Courtney Crouch. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Dailey Crouch McGuffey, sister Nancy Wilson and brother Charles Moore.

Rosie graduated from Mooresville High School in 1952 and from the Women’s College of UNCG in 1954. She worked at DuPont right out of college when she left to raise her family. After her children were grown, she obtained her NC Real Estate License and worked for Knox Realty Inc. for several years. She went back to school at CPCC and studied business data processing and ended her working career with Belk Stores Services.

Her greatest joys in life were her faith, her family, sewing, and reading. She enjoyed beach trips with her entire family, her extended sewing family, and reading a good book in her quest to build a dining room table, or learn basket weaving or how to build bathroom cabinets, which she expertly accomplished.

A memorial service to celebrate Rosie’s life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 @ 2:00 pm @ First Presbyterian Church of Mooresville NC officiated by Rev. Dr. David Rockness. The family will receive friends after the service in the Fellowship Hall.

The family is especially grateful for Dr. William Flannery for many years of exceptional care and Hospice of Lake Norman for their patience & loving care at the end of her journey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Lake Norman 705 Griffith St Suite 203 Davidson NC 28036 or First Presbyterian Church (249 W. McClelland Ave.,Mooresville, NC 28115).
