George Washington Keziah, Jr., 68 of Charlotte, passed away on Thursday December 22, 2011 at his home. Mr. Keziah was born on November 23, 1943 in Charlotte, a son of the late George Washington Keziah, Sr. and Margaret Duncan Suggs. Mr. Keziah was self employed throughout his life, and most recently he had his own Bait Business. He enjoyed baseball, golf, fishing and hunting, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Keziah, and a sister, Debbie Whitaker.
Survivors: George is survived by his sons, George Washington Keziah, III “Trey” and Johnathan Trenton Keziah, both of Charlotte. Daughters, Tammy Gay of Charlotte, Candace K. Wright of Mint Hill and Nakesha T. Keziah of Charlotte. Sisters, Patricia Tritt, Nancy Hamilton, Cindy Jackson and Brenda Preshel. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.


You will always be remembered and cherished. We will miss you dearly but we know you our still in our hearts and with us. We love you! Our condolences to the family.

I knew a man once who impressed me greatly. He took it upon hisself to take care of my brothers and sisters. He had such love and responsibility. It was you Toe, and I am glad to have known you. Thank you for caring for them when noone else could.
